PETSIMONIAL
After visiting the Animal Emergency Clinic & DR.Brown we wish we could take all our animals to the Emergency Vet in the middle of the night...just to get some vet service that seems to make sense. We won't name any names but there are about 2-3 vets in Auburn that charge ridiculous rates during the day and clearly seem to not even know HOW to treat our animals.
Our English Bulldog was a bit in the face/ear by another dog and it swelled up to the size of a baseball about 9pm. We called the vet - asked if we should bring her in and they welcomed us right away. My husband took our dog in and was told she would have to have surgery ASAP. She had a big infection in her ear & face. She ended up having to put a drain in her face to drain out the fluid and blood build up, stiches and recontructive surgery on her ear - which we KNOW she needed.
The whole time the Vet was very nice to my husband, talking to him and calming him about the bill. We were worried we wouldn't be able to pay as we are not very well off - the vet was kind and made it about our dog first and bill later! We just took her back in the other night to get the drain out and he didn't charge us anything. We still need to get the stiches out. He was pleasant, kind and I have no idea what the bad reviews are about because we are picky people and will tell everyone about what great service we had in the middle of the night for our poor English Bulldog - who is now snoring loudly next to us, almost 100% healed. Make sure you give this place a chance & huge thanks to Dr.Brown from "Beeda" & Family!! Angela C, "Beeda" and Family 2/16/2012 as review on YELP
